Privacy Policy

Kivunly provides an AI chat widget for websites ("the Service"). This policy explains what data the Service handles, both for owners of websites that install Kivunly and for visitors who use the chat.

What the chat widget processes

When a visitor sends a message in a Kivunly chat widget, the following is transmitted to our servers, solely to generate a reply:

Replies are generated using an AI language-model provider (currently OpenAI) acting as a data processor. Message content is used to produce the reply and is not used by Kivunly to build profiles of visitors.

What the widget does not do

Conversation history is kept only in the visitor's own browser (session storage) and disappears when the browser tab session ends.

Retention

Messages are processed to generate replies and may be retained for a short period in operational logs used for reliability and abuse prevention, after which they are deleted. We do not sell or share message content with third parties beyond the AI processing described above.

Site owners' catalog data

To recommend a website's own content, the Service reads the website's publicly available pages (such as its public posts list). This is the same information any visitor's browser can access.

This website

kivunly.com itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics. If you email us, we receive your email address and use it only to reply.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or delete personal data. For any request or question, contact hello@kivunly.com and we will help.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and its date.
